With head carver Guujaaw, Jaalen spent several months in 2007/2008 carving a canoe that residing at the Haida Heritage Centre at Kaay Llnagaay.  The T’a canoe is 36 feet long.  Its seaworthiness was tested at its launching ceremony when a crew took it out around Skidegate inlet.
